BIOGRAPHY of TONI FERRARA

LA-based celebrity stylist, Toni Ferrara has begun making waves in the fashion/entertainment industry. Three years after landing in the "City of Angels", her celebrity clientele continues to grow and grow. "Everyone has their own personal style, let me help you discover yours!", is her infamous quote.

Ferrara is determined to build her long standing fashion career by following her own set of rules. Known for her upbeat attitude, radiant positive energy, and passion for fashion, Toni continues to keep Tinseltown's hottest- on top and ahead of the trends.

Toni was born in Charleston, South Carolina and spent most of her childhood in Central Florida. Always interested in the arts, never quite knowing what aspect of the arts to pursue, Toni decided to study Fine Arts. She studied figure drawing, watercolor paintings, sculpture, graphic arts, and animation. Her love for creating new clothing for herself and friends gave her the inspiration to pursue fashion design.

Toni graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design with a minor in Marketing from the International Academy of Design & Technology. After graduating, she packed her bags for the "City of Angels" when she landed an internship at an agency that represented hair, makeup, and fashion stylists. Her education in those three months will remain priceless.

After her internship was completed, Toni had already received many job offers from various celebrities, as well as, magazines. Her fashion intuition, along with trend forecasting make her a stylist who is always on top of the "hottest looks of the season".

You can see Toni on many red carpets around Hollywood sometimes escorting her closest friends/clients. Aside from editorials, celebrity red carpet events, Ferrara has branched into the TV/Film world, working as Key Costume Designer for the Emmy-nominated series "PromQueen" (exec. producer Michael Eisner)

Ferrara's hard work extends further than just the exquisite ensembles on the glossy pages and on the big screen. In November, Ferrara joined the LA Direct Magazine family to become the Fashion Editor.

2008 is said to be the year for this stylist, after wrapping up two back-to-back campaigns for the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas and being a top source for "the must have items" for Style Network Online, she is a definite force to be reckoned with in the industry. From her first few months in Los Angeles, when she was compared to the great Tom Ford anything is possible--Watch this stylist's star on it's rise!
